Rebound
Rebound
Product #:
RB-001
Description:
Rebound is an updated spin on an old classic. For over 25 years, this classic family game
has delighted those of all ages.
The object sounds easy enough, try to angle your sliders, or pucks, down the board just far
enough to land in the high point zone, but not too far to land you off the board. Sounds easy, right?
Enter the angled rubber bands at the end of the board that you must rely on to send your puck back to the point zone got the idea now.
Rebound is as much about skill as it is about good old fashioned luck at times. Oh yeah, and did we mention that opposing team members alternate turns, hence a great shot can be knocked right off the board.
Each Rebound game includes: 1 solid hardwood game board, rubber band bouncers and 8 durable pucks 4 red/blue, official rules and sturdy cardboard box container.
Weight: 24 lbs.
Dimensions: 51 x 22 x 5
Rebound Rules
Set Up
Place the game on a flat, level playing surface. The game is played with two players. Each player plays with all four pucks of the same color.
Rules for Play
Players shoot from the right side of the board. Slide the pucks forward being careful not to cross the foul line when shooting. The puck should bounce off the right bumper, into the left bumper and slide towards the scoring zones.
To determine which player will shoot first, each player shoots one puck. The puck with the highest score will shoot first. The player then shoots their first puck. When shooting, your hand should not pass the foul line. After the first player shoots, players’ alternate shots until all pucks have been shot. Score is calculated only after all eight pucks have been shot. Once the score has been calculated, players shoot again. The player with the highest score after each set of shots shoots first. Repeat until one player reaches the winning score.
Scoring
The game is played to 21. The first player to reach or exceed 21 points is declared the winner. Points are scored just as the board reads. For example, a puck in the “3” zone is worth 3 points. Any puck that slides off the playing surface or is knocked off the playing surface scores no points. If a puck stops on a line, the puck scores the points for the zone in which more than half of the pucks sit in. If the puck is perfectly in the middle of the line, it scores the lower of the two point zones.
