Shuffle Shot
Shuffle Shot
Product #:
SS-001
Description:
Shuffle Shot first introduced in 1953, is a classic and unique spin on shuffle board. Scaled down to fit almost any tabletop, Shuffle Shot is not your Grandma's game!
A highly laminated surface marked with various point sections just begs you to send the fast shooting, roller-bearing pucks screaming down the board. Yet a 1,2,3 scoring model, and your opponents ability to knock you pucks off, makes you rethink such a hasty move. Take it slow and steady because this game is based on skill and aptitude.
Made of hardwoods, felt, and laminate, this tabletop version will provide many years of gaming enjoyment for the whole family.
Each Shuffle Shot game includes: 1 solid hardwood game board, felt inlay for out of bounds playing area, 8 durable pucks 4 red/blue, sturdy cardboard box container and official game rules.
Weight: 19 lbs.
Dimensions: 51 x 17 x 4
Shuffle Shot Rules
Set Up
Place the game on a flat, level playing surface. You can play with two or four players. If playing with four players, you must form teams of two players per team. Each player/team plays with all four pucks of one color.
Rules for Play
Each player/team begins play from the same side of the board. To determine which player will shoot first, each player should slide a puck to the other end of the board. The player whose puck is the closest to the other end of the board without going over the edge will shoot first. If playing singles, players alternate shots from the same end of the board. When shooting, the players hand should not pass the foul line on the board. If the players hand does pass the foul line, the shot is considered foul and its points do not count. The foul puck should be removed from the playing surface. After all the pucks have been shot, players should calculate the score and clear the pucks from the board. Each player then moves to the other end of the board. The player with the highest score will shoot first when switching sides. Repeat this until a player reaches the winning score. In team play, each team member will shoot two pucks and must alternate turns. For example: Team A, player 1 shoots first followed by Team B, player 1. Then Team A, player 2 shoots followed by Team B, player 2. All other rules are the same as singles play.
Scoring
The game is played to 21. The first player or team to reach or exceed 21 points is declared the winner. Points are scored just as the board reads. For example, a puck in the 3 zone is worth 3 points. A shot that does not pass the opposing foul line does not score any points. Any puck that slides off the playing surface or is knocked off the playing surface scores no points. If a puck stops on a line, the puck scores the points for the zone in which more than half of the pucks sit in. If the puck is perfectly in the middle of the line it scores the lower of the two point zones.
