Let’s face it; to tailgate like pros. you must eat like the pros. Tailgating recipes are the key to good food and good times. Tailgating recipes are more than just burgers, hotdogs and something to drink. Don’t get us wrong we love burgers and dogs as much as anyone but let’s get a little creative now and then. Tailgate parties are now hosted by would be local chefs that show off their cooking skills sometimes under harsh conditions. Good tailgaters will go for hours before the game, to well after the casual fan leaves. A variety of steaks, ribs ,breasts of chicken and whole pigs are now accompanied by Chili, fajatas, smoked salmon and even eggs for the early starter. Entire buffets are now created by Tailgaters in the parking lots on game day.
The 3 keys to good tailgating recipes. 1- Most or all of the prep work can be performed at home before the tailgating event. You don’t want to spend your whole day prepping food when you should be having fun. 2- Variety-Variety-Variety. Be creative. There are tons of different things you can have at your tailgate party. 3- Your Tailgating recipes have other tailgaters envious. They will enjoy their burgers and dogs, but you’ll notice when they are eye-balling your kabobs.
